Four races on the first day of action

Juha Blinnikka from Finland leads the fleet of 57 sailors from 12 countries, who competed in the first day of the Raceboard Masters World Championships in Riga, Latvia today.

Juha’s lead comes from his consistency in the four races, which were held.

Following Juha is Slovakia’s Patrik Pollak and Artur Manelski from Poland. After the races the opening ceremony was held at the event venue with short speaches from the organisers and the class representative - Ceri Williams.

Tomorrow the RS:X class will join the Raceboarders with the first possible start planned at 11:00 local time.
